राहत ना मिली

भट़कता रहा मैं बनज़ारों सा कि ख़ुदा की राहत ना मिली,
कितना चाहा था उस बेवफ़ा को की उसकी चाहत ना मिली।

रह गया मैं आवारा कि अब किसी की ईबाद़त भी ना मिली,
ख़्वाब में आते है पर उनको पाने की ख्व़ाहिश ना मिली।

जुड़ा था मेरा मन बस उनके ही ख्य़ल से की की रवाय़त ना मिली,
रूह बन गएं थे वो मेरी पर मुझे उनकी आद़त भी ना मिली।

सपनें जो करने थे उनके मुझे की उनकी ईज़ाजत ना मिली,
याद़ बनकर अंकित रह गई वो मेरी, मुझे उनकी रूसवाईं भी ना मिली।

ज़िंदगी गलत लोगों से मुलाकात करवाती है,
दिल गलत लोगों को अपना मान लेता है।।
दिमाग अच्छे अच्छे ख्वाब देखने लगता है,
सच में वो इंसान इतना अच्छा नहीं होता है।।

कभी तुम्हें वो रुला देते हैं,
कभी तुम्हें बहुत प्यार दिखाते हैं।।
कभी तुम्हारी फिक्र और जिक्र को अनदेखा करते हैं,
कभी तुम्हें बहुत फिक्रमंद होने का नाटक करते हैं।।

कभी तुम्हें वो हमसफ़र बनाने की बात करते हैं,
कभी तुम्हारी भावनाओं से खेल जाते हैं,
करते है दर्द को अंकित इस तरह हम रूह से टूट जाते है
बिना महोबत ही हम ठीक, वो वादा कर दिल तोड़ जाते है

Everyone has that one person in their lives who loved them unconditionally but unfortunately you failed to accept his love in return…..
A letter to the one who loved me unconditionally…..

I thought you to be my dearest friend… I never expected that you feel for me… I never tried to understand why you always agree to whatever I say… I never tried to find an answer why you always notice me….

Thankyou for always being there with me without any expectations in return, I remember once you have expressed your feelings to me and I am extremely sorry that I failed to accept your feelings.

It’s not that I don’t respect your feelings, I know you suffered a lot for the shake of mine… And you never complained anything to me…

I don’t know about love, but definitely I have respect for you…. Respect for understanding my situation, respect for making me feel comfortable, respect for understanding that you can’t force a person to feel in a certain way….

People think that only their feelings matters… But you understood that the feelings of the person with whom you are expressing your love equally matters…. This gesture of your’s made you different from the crowd… Many a times I have seen that once a boy starts feeling something than either he tortures her or he forces her to be with him… But you understood that this is not love, if you have feelings for a person than her happiness should equally matter to you….

People breakdown their friendship if the next person denies to accept their feelings… But you did not let this happen…. and I wanna tell you that I want our friendship to last forever…..❣️

I know I have never expressed how lucky I feel to have you in my life as my closest friend… I don’t know if I ever say this to you or not…. but I can say that you are one of my good memories that I have created…. People think that only breakup of a relationship hurts but breakdown of friendship equally hurts if you are attached to someone from your heart….

The Girl In The Library

The Girl In The Library

She tapped her fingers on each book,
sliding her fingers from left to right of the shelf.
Her craze was so much that even her pain ran away with tiredness,
they would try hard to make her cry,
but the library always made her feel peaceful.

She would spend hours to choose a book,
she would choose an old dusty book,
of whom no one was bothered about.
She mostly avoided the popular books,
thinking of unique which was chosen by none,
and she wanted to make them run in popularity.

Sometimes, she would sit all alone on the steps,
having a smile on her face and fragrance of flowers in the garden.
She would wear simple clothes with simple slippers,
but her feet would leave her words behind in the imaginary world.
No guy fell in love with her,
but only plants, flowers and butterflies waited for her.

While she danced with words,
the books would gossip among themselves,
thinking about her next pick up.
She would smile, be sad and angry,
Whenever the stories took the twist unexpectedly.
Only the library knew her footsteps,
only books knew her shadow,
and only the words knew that how much she was lost into their world.
